Hands
on Tahoe was developed in collaboration with the Truckee Tahoe Community
Foundation to explore the needs of local organizations that depend on
volunteers and the desire of our population to serve the community. Our
mission is to connect the volunteer needs of local non-profits with
members of the community who wish to volunteer. Hands on Tahoe began
serving the North Tahoe area in 2004 and is functioning solely through
volunteer positions.From the arts and humanities, to the environment, youth , healthcare, education, and human services, we help connect the resources in the community and improve the quality of life in our region.
